Cop Wants to Stop Robbers but Gets Shot and killed Instead
A sergeant in the reserve of the Military Police was shot and died on Thursday morning, attempting to prevent a robbery at a commercial center in Rio. D,J,C, 76, passed by when he noticed the action of three thugs who had invaded a store and reacted. He was hit by two shots. The agent was still rescued for the municipal hospital, but did not resist the injuries. In a statement, the Military Police lamented the death of D., who had joined the MP in 1967.  |
