In situations like this your body gets flooded with all sorts of chemicals such as adrenaline, I highly doubt he could feel anything.

I have two questions. How is he alive at the 5:07 mark? How come nobody has helped him at the 5:07 mark? The dude must be in total shock. He just pulls on the edge of his skin like he's picking off a scab. Completely unbelievable.
