Here's another story on him: http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/56500-m...an-walks-again Strange though... according to some accounts, this happened in 1995, which seems unlikely as cell phones didn't have sophisticated video capabilities like this back then. According to Life.com though, this happened in 2004. Strange that there would be such discrepency, when the victim is ALIVE, and can RECALL the incident. However, the pictures clearly show the same guy that's in the video, so I'm inclined to believe it happened in 2004, and he did survive. On the other hand, it may well be an elaborate hoax. I mean, if I was getting along so well, six or 15 years after the fact, I'd conduct a lucid press conference and set the record straight once and for all! Everything I've come up with from googling this guy's name though, has left me unconvinced. Could this be propaganda to boost China's medical technology? Why isn't there video footage of his recovery? Obviously, there's video footage of the "incident."  |
