Yeah, had a one that blew her brains next to me at this range in Pasadena. Bad part was the fact I did not know it due to the way the stalls were set up. People only noticed when the poll of blood got larger.https://www.chron.com/news/houston-t...de-1781790.php |

Re: Chinese Man Shoots Himself in the Head at Cambodian shooting range
Suicide is neither a cowardly act nor a brave act. It's a cry of a person in distress. It's a form of communication that says, ‘I am helpless and I don't know how to cope with helplessness’. When a country is being attacked by a foreign enemy force; cowardice would be someone who's passive, neither defending his country or his people and commits treason or suicide instead, while his countrymen and women march on to fight. People that are determined to kill themselves are generally mentally ill. The mental illness often cited as a contributing factor is depression. Depression is both a brain disorder and a state of mind. The brain is unique; it is the only organ whose function we consciously experience because the brain is the organ of the mind. Much like other physical disorders, it requires treatment and counselling, and cannot simply be wished away. Wanting to die goes hand in hand with that illness. It is a symptom of severe depression, not a character failing or moral flaw. Nor is it, truly, a desire to die so much as a fervent wish to end one's extreme unendurable mental suffering. |
