Yeah that’s not remotely how the stand your ground laws work, all they do is remove the ‘duty to retreat’ (from a space you lawfully occupy) before using lethal force in the face of eminent threat of death or serious injury, it doesn’t remove the requirement for that threat (and most certainly doesn’t let YOU be the one to move toward / put the other person into ‘your space’, announce it as yours, and then shoot them for being ‘in your space’.) Also, U.S. racial minorities don’t get shot any more often (and typically LESS often) than would be commensurate with their rate of violent crime… It’s very clear from their talking points that you parrot that you been drinking gallons of the MSM’s ‘woketard’ Kool-Aide of race-baiting and ‘tear down America’ agitation… Life-tip: Lay off the CNN.

Which is why the best option is for everybody (or at least everybody who hasn’t forfeited the right by being unlawfully violent to others) who wants to be armed to be armed. It’s not that hard to understand. If they committed attempted murder and use deadly force in any way in the resistance of a lawful citizen’s arrest then deadly force may be used by the one making that arrest. The goal of course is to arrest them not to kill them, but if they make the choice between killing them or being seriously injured, or killing them or letting them go to attack someone else, the law lets you use deadly force (whether it was 2 minutes, 10 minutes, or 10 years ago, though you’d better be sure you’ve got the right guy…)
