Technically it varies state to state a bit. But by far and large, all the scenarios you describe, if properly, "articulated" would be fine. A civilian has no, "duty to protect" so you can simply stand there and do nothing, legally, if you so choose (not me, more than once)... |

You're welcome! I think Venmo is just video uploading for sharing, not sure if you can edit on there, I've not used it before. I use ezgif.com for most video editing (cutting, cropping, merging, rotating + loads more). Edit: I'm thinking of Vimeo - doh!

In the US in most states it’s possible to do something, but you have to be in close proximity to the person you want to shoot and verbally announce: “You are in my space, I am standing my ground.” After that you can pull out the gun and basically shoot the other person. You’d probably get off with at least a warning. Although it helps if the other person is a minority though, depending on which state you are in. You clearly aren't from/in the US. There's no restrictions ANYWHERE to using deadly force once the threat is ACTIVE. You are talking about, "threats". Once a little Chinese girl has been partially decapitated in front of your eyes, you destroy the animal with extreme prejudice...  |

"active" is debatable in court. is someone that is standing perfectly still but holding a weapon "active"? what if their victim was last assaulted 5 seconds prior? 5 minutes? 2 hours? |
