She seemed to roll out of the building - hopefully she was unconcious or close to when she fell. Look up what happened at Grenfell tower in London. What should have been a minor fire caused by an electrical fault in a fridge in a lower floor flat became an inferno because the cheap cladding on the outside of the building acted like a chimney, sending the fire up the sides of the building trapping residents on the upper floor who couldn't escape. 72 people died. |

She probably didn't know the wall was gone from the rooms below her and that there was a chance of climbing into them. Imagine seeing that on the way down.

I'd like to think I'd still be trying to find some way to get through or down a level but really? It didn't look like she had any of options at all. Just awful situation to be in. In that kind of event it would take emergency responders AGES to be able to do anything helpful. Like 30mins to turn off the gas?

It could be that she did, off screen. The angle to descend didn't look amazing. We don't know how hot anything was or how fast things changed. And ya...she's balancing that without a jarring, horrific situation that she know is life vs painful death In any case, we saw how one human navigated this and the real time choice between burning and falling. It's gut wrenching |
We never know what might occur to us or not, in such a setting and with heat, panic, perhaps stunned by the blast and/or gases etc., I guess.
