We will never know. In the US it seems people attempt to at least look for an option or shocker they find a way and use it. She just sat there till it was way too late and did a barrel roll.

She was unconscious before she fell. The smoke suffocate her and she passed out. She didn't feel the fall

It looks she finally decided to jump, but lost consciousness and fell back. This was probably the result of inhaling the superheated gases that also melted the clothes off her body.

At the very end, it looks like she used what little strength she had left to roll off the edge. I doubt she is very alert because there is very little spontaneous movement during the fall.

Truly horrible.

Yeah, death by fire is one of my nightmare scenarios.
