these cops' police work seems in line with the backwardness of south (central?) american countries in general (at least as compared to the US or Europe), to wit: shooting to kill someone allegedly accused of theft. blasting your way through a crowded parking lot of a highway.

Or, perhaps it is only the cop who is an amateur, in which case perhaps Chile's government will have enough mindfulness to put this cowboy on admin leave, for a long, long time.

PS: that said, the level of criminality and violence in those (backward) countries is gazillion times higher than in the US and Europe, so the cops's expeditious manner may have some justification?

looking at this officers bike skills and marksmanship there wasn't much risk hes obviously very well trained, plus the kid seemed to pose more of a risk to the public than the officer, either way that cops a bad ass
