Car Explodes at Gas Pump Killing a Woman Inside
Brazil, A 27 year old woman died late Saturday after a car exploded at a gas station in Rio de Janeiro's Metropolitan Region. She was inside the car when the explosion occurred. According to the Fire Department, her body was charred and sent to the Medical Institute. A video of the station security camera, which circulates on social networks, shows the moment of the explosion. In the images it is possible to see the driver of the vehicle standing outside of the car. With the explosion, his body flew back a couple of meters. According to the Civil Police, he was referred to the Hospital in serious condition. There is no information on the condition of a third victim. |

Wow. No way that was a gasoline combustion accident. That definitely looked like an explosive detonation. A good half of the van just goes away - shredded like a cat toy.

Some cars in Brazil are fueled with natural gas (real gas, not gas as short for gasoline). CNG cylinders work at 200 bar and can cause nasty explosions, like this. |

It was only a "pressure" explosion, without any combustion.

I am just a ball of fucking questions right now. Maybe her mobile meth lab finally decided to blow? I doubt that had anything to do with the gas tank/fueling.
