I am no expert but things under pressure will go boom. Get a bottle of gas with no cap and light it up it just burns. Do the same with the cap on and once ruptured turns into a fireball.

Looking at the vehicle, I'm sure it's not a nitrous oxide tank explosion. I have seen vehicles that have been blown up similarly when the emergency valve doesn't work on a nitrous bottle though. From the previous comments; natural gas seems to be the most logical explanation.  |

The fuel pump has a nozzle to dispense pressurized gas. It was some form of pressurized explosion. With there being uniformed station attendants dispensing the fuel and I hear that fueling those pressurized gas cylinders is a complicated & tricky procedure, it makes sense.

It's a propane station. You can see the propane off-gassing right after the explosion until it runs out of the tank (white vapor cloud)
