Yesterday afternoon in the middle of the Pan-American highway in Panamá three young men (cousins) who were travelling in a taxi were shot and killed by unknown men who intercepted them in three cars.

The three young men died on the spot.

The first to be shot was the driver and then the other occupants. A fourth person, in this case the co-pilot, survived and is hospitalized.

One of the victims was left dead on the floor with his head resting on the rear door of the vehicle. He apparently tried to flee, but was hit by bullets. The other two died inside the vehicle.

The taxi driver was identified as C.I.S.V, who leaves 4 children orphaned.

The second victim was identified as 'P', who was in the back seat with a minor.

The police reported that the victims were apparently linked to criminal factions.

In a video that circulated yesterday on social networks after the massacre, the deceased are observed, inside the vehicle while someone comments: 'Look at the pellets, they gave thick lead to the men.'

The authorities reported that operations were mounted in the area and three suspects who could be linked to the triple homicide were apprehended.

One of the victims, according to the police, was involved in tumbe de armas.

Relatives, after learning of the triple crime, arrived at the scene and sat down to observe the removal of the bodies from afar.

After the fact, the Police found a vehicle involved in the triple crime abandoned.

With these violent deaths, there are 20 people killed in the middle of the violence so far in July.

These shooters probably think they're the shit, but in truth they are very, very "stoopud" & sloppy.

They planned the drive-by horribly and killed a family man that in all probability had nothing to do with the situation.

I know dealers that employ taxi drivers.

I doubt the cabbie was innocent, he probably had a connection to the victims.

Until then I had naively thought the taxi driver was an innocent bystander. Maybe not so much...
