Re: Budd Dwyer, Commits Suicide During News Conference: Hi-Quality
Dwyer co-conspirator, Robert Asher, served one year and now runs the Republican Party in Pennsylvania. He was appointed to the high post by former Homeland Security Secretary, Tom Ridge. So, let me see if I understand this. Tom Ridge, an expert on Homeland Security, appoints a convicted felon (who plead guilty), to a high level position of influence in the Pennsylvania Republican Party. Yep, I got it right. Does anybody know what happened to John Torquato, the other co-defendant? Is he still alive? Did Tom Ridge offer him some kind of reward for being a criminal?
