Re: Brazilian Policeman Executes Street Vendor in Broad Daylight
Yup...you're correct, I'm a big fat lier. We've been through this again and again. So let's get this straight...you believe that a uniformed police officer, in broad daylight, and in front of an angry and growing crowd of idiots who are videoing his every move, "murdered" a citizen for absolutely no justifiable reason what so ever? But (and this is a big but), you find it utterly impossible and out of the rehlm of possibility that a thirty year retired police detective and use of force expert would comment on a gore site? Uh...ok. I think this might say more about your preconcieved perceptions and agenda than it does about my credibility. Let me further blow your mind...I'm over fifty years old, I have an undergraduate degree in Criminology, two graduate doctorate degrees, and a Doctorate. I spend thirty years working for a large municipal law enforcement agency in the Los Angeles area of California. I am a state licensed private investigator that I use for my part time consulting practice on police use of force investigations. I also teach criminal justice courses part time a two local colleges. I'm fairly tall, have a full head of hair, have blue eyes, and bad knees. I've personally been involved in several on duty use of deadly force incidents and have investigated hundreds of police use of force incidents throughout the US (and a couple in Canada). I tell you this because you seem to think that just my being a police officer is beyond belief, so I figured that this would just make your head explode. I have a great fear for my life based on numerous job related threats to kill both me and my family, but yet I post this information openly and make no mysteries about my expertise. You, on the other hand act as if you work for an intelligence agency and are scared to death to post semi-personal information. So I guess I'll just ask the big question...what qualifies you to judge what a police officer does or doesn't do? What have you to add to the conversation other than "police are bad" or the old stand by, "police conspiracy"? Obviously you have an agenda and feel strongly, especially regarding law enforcement in Brazil, but what do you base your views on other than emotion and agenda? Hey...I could actually care less about what happens in Brazil or for that matter anywhere else, but for God's sake make an argument from a source of fact and from a basis in actual reality. |

Oh yea...saying the cop is a "fucking pussy"...talk about being civil. Get it in the water cooler. Just because someone points out the rediculessness of your opinion...don't get your diapers in a wad. Get a position that can be defended. Wa wa wa...the police are bad! |

Good shoot. Should have shot one or two more. OP has twisted agenda. Two or three cops can easily end up beaten to death or beaten badly and then killed with their own guns in an angry crowd like that. A very volatile - dangerous - situation. The guy that got shot was intentionally making it even more so for the officers. He definitely should have been shot and killed. |

Life left that dude at 1:51 in. Guy was a potential threat the entire time in a hostile situation and when he approached the officer in an aggressive manner the result was justified.

....guess he should have minded his own business then. just another one of billions of teeming, unwanted, unruly and unnecessary detritus. this is just a tiny glimpse of what happens when earth's human population explodes. there is simply not enough room, legally, physically, environmentally, or economically. next.

...and by the way, in orderly societies, one simply cannot just lunge at officers preoccupied with a detention. in the USA he would have been capped as well. good fucking riddance, this is why cops carry boom sticks- to keep the screeching apes at bay.
