was it a stupid thing do do? yes, especially in brazil. Do I understand the violence the police over there are exposed to daily? yes. The weapons the gangs have over there put the average americans to shame. They find bloody grenade launchers in the favelas for gods sake so if this is how he reacts during the removal of a street vendor perhaps he is in the wrong job. The history of the police there is well known and acknowledged internationaly. Shoot first ask questions later? yes! now is later and questions are being asked. He calmed the situation? a routine removal turned into a political shitstorm so no. As for the 'fucking dumb ass' comment keep it to PMs or the WC.

wow getting so worked up over a dislike. I dont need to debate my position as I have made it clear. Whats more you seem incapable of being civil. I do not think someone grabbing his hand in this situation (several armed police removing a steet vendor) justifies the lethal force that was used. You are the only one pushing a 'agenda', you are the one who seems to blindly follow preconcieved notions with regard to the police.
