Bonópolis, Goiás, Brazil A man, identified as Chapolim, was fatally stabbed in the chest after an argument outside a bar. According to initial reports, the primary suspect in the homicide is an employee of the municipal administration. |

Another reminder of how quickly and easily a knife can kill: just a fraction-of-a-second little 'ding', here, probably barely any blood on the blade. I think a lot of people (who haven't seen these) suspect that a knife kill is always de facto more 'personal', takes more time on target/eye contact/closeness-to-victim/blade immersion, etc., maybe leaning more toward like a strangling (which can take for fucking ever), probably from watching too many scripted knifing examples (for which there are, I think, significantly fewer examples available than those of simply being shot). It sure CAN be protracted if you have time and the desire (and/or a ready, resisting opponent), but no, you can also literally just touch someone with little more effort than playing tag, and just walk away....
