If she had a reasonably grounded suspicion that he may have swiped her phone (or anything else) she would. Perhaps someone else saw him messing around her bag when she wasn't looking. Perhaps he was known for such activity. We don't know for sure, one way or the other, but she obviously thought that she had such grounds. Still, she had no grounds for stabbing him - we can all agree on that. |
