Brazil - Officer Shot Dead at a Bar
In the early hours of 10th January 2021 in Recife (Brazil), 37 year old E.S.L.J. was murdered. 'E', a police officer, was sat outside a diner with friends when 2 men on a motorbike arrived. Firing shots at the officer, 2 hit his head, killing him instantly. The owner of the diner received shots to his leg + abdomen. He was taken to the hospital for treatment + then released. A woman that was with 'E' was grazed by a bullet, but she did not need medical assistance. Shortly before the murder, 'E' had been at another bar but left as he had a disagreement with the security guards for being armed. 'E' had stated that his reason was because he's an officer. It's thought that this incident is related to his murder.
