Re: Brazil - Brutality From The Gangsters
Former Cop here. Hi M.NC, I want to chime in on your debate with fuxnottastic about the charge&terminology. YOU are correct, the mutilation of a corpse charge would be accurate. That can occur anytime right after murder or death. OR, it can be a charge if, say.. that a person does happen to come across a deceased individual, and then they perform mutilating acts upon that individual’s body/corpse. Time itself is much less of a factor in this situation. HE is wrong.. as Overkill is when, during a violent altercation, a person does what is considered “much beyond what is required to kill, or in much excess of”. (as a general definition) Some ppl consider it more of a slaughtering or obliteration-type killing or action. Time itself is important in this situation as it is considered -—> in-the-moment. * also, the Taylor Schabusiness trial is an interesting one. I have followed all things true crime and SK related since i was a teen in the 80s. (look at my Profile/Blurbs, u will see an interesting tidbit) |

First I’d like to thank you for your service, Thank you sir! Thanks also for the clarification. I see he lived in the same town as yourself. Interesting to say the least. I’ve learned something today and thank you for that as well. Glad to shake your hand even if only virtually. I wish you a good day and a nice weekend as well. Thanks for posting! |

Re: Brazil - Brutality From The Gangsters
Thank you for the kind words, It means a lot. :-) The handshake is appreciated and classy. I did live in same town, and actually knew him personally, fairly well. His father and my father were pals. They were into the same hobbies, and my dad would go visit his dad, every now&then. I would often tag along. I got to spend a fair amount of time around Danny and I got to know him a good bit. He was... trippy. (i detailed some of it in a thread about Danny, that was in the True Crime category, but for whatever reason it has recently been deleted, or possibly I just cant find it now) Anyway, thank you again for your kindness, and i wish i could buy you a beer or 2 and us talk all things DR, crime, or whatever you would be interested in. Have a great weekend. d1 |

Re: Brazil - Brutality From The Gangsters
What could he have possibly done for the killer to unleash this kind of brutality on him? It appears he was dead before some of these horrors were inflicted upon him, and that is the only good that can be said here.

Re: Brazil - Brutality From The Gangsters
Kind sir, you flatter me with kind words and an offer so hard to refuse. I would enjoy nothing more than getting to sit around and chew the fat with you. We might just have to make that happen one day. l’m honored that you would make such a kind and generous offer. I’m sure you’ve got some grand stories to tell after living the life you’ve lead. I’ll send you a pm with some contact info and possibly in the future we can find a way to get together. Have a good rest of your weekend D1.. and thanks again for all you’ve done to serve in all your capacities. |
