I was actually hoping that guy would shoot the gunman in the face after he tackled him and took his weapon, instead he let him run to the bridge and pick up another assault rifle to continue the massacre. Lesson here is; don’t point a gun at someone unless you intend to use it.

He has disarmed him and probably thought his own life was no longer in immediate danger. It all sounds so straight forward, but until you're in the same position he was I have no clue how I'd react.

On a side note, he apparently had no knowledge there were no rounds left in his weapon.
