On the eve of Black Awareness Day (11/20), a video appeared of a black man that got beaten and killed in Porto Alegre, generating much revolt and protests.

In the video, J.A.S.F, 40, is beaten and killed by two men, a security guard from the store and the other, a temporary military police officer - an employee hired by the Military Brigade for a fixed period of time, for administrative activities.

The investigation treats crime as a qualified homicide. In the images there is also a woman, supposedly an employee of the chain, filming the whole scene.

The Military Police of Rio Grande do Sul reported that the incident began after a disagreement between the victim and an employee of the supermarket, which is located in the state capital, in the Passo d'Areia neighborhood, in the city's North Zone.

Witnesses told the police that he would have made "aggressive gestures" while passing the cashier. After security was triggered, the man was then led out of the store, while his wife continued shopping.

On the way, the victim reportedly punched the security guard, and was later beaten to death by the security guard and a military police officer, who was not in service.

After being beaten, an ambulance was called, but the doctors were unable to revive the victim. The suspects were arrested in the act.

The shop regretted the case, saying it had initiated a rigorous internal investigation, calling the act a criminal and breaking the contract with the security company.

"Carrefour informs that it will adopt the appropriate measures to hold those involved in this criminal act responsible. It will also break the contract with the company that is responsible for the security guards who committed the aggression.

The employee who was in charge of the store at the time of the incident will be dismissed. the store will be closed to the victim. We will contact the victim's family to provide the necessary support.

"Carrefour deeply regrets the case. Upon learning of this inexplicable episode, we initiated a rigorous internal investigation and immediately took the appropriate steps to ensure that those responsible were legally punished.

For us, no violence and intolerance is allowed, and no we accept that situations like these happen.

We are deeply dismayed by everything that happened and will follow the developments of the case, offering all support to the local authorities ".

These guys double team murdered this man because he got sucker punched.. Im sure his intentions were to make him shut the fuck up and revenge for getting sucker punched earlier, but damn.... Took shit way too far and it went south in a heartbeat
