Chairperson of Taxi Association Gunned Down Outside Garage/gas Station
Police have opened a murder case after a top taxi operator was gunned down in Pretoria on Tuesday afternoon. The shooting, which was captured on camera, took place at a garage and filling station. The victim (51), chairperson of the Bazaar taxi association was fatally wounded on Tuesday around 2 PM. Preliminary investigations indicated that the victim was coming out of the garage shop going to his car when gunned down. A Toyota stopped next to the deceased’s car and two occupants wearing balaclavas came out of the car. One was armed with a pistol and the other with a rifle. The driver remained in the car as the other two fired several shots at him. More than 10 empty cartridges were found on the scene and the victim was declared dead. The suspects are unknown and the motive behind the killing is under investigation, police said. The fatal shooting of Bazaar taxi association’s chairperson shocked the taxi industry at large. “We’re calling for law enforcement agencies to deal with such behaviour and bring the culprits to book.” |

Re: Chairperson of Taxi Association Gunned Down Outside Garage/gas Station
You announce "Chairperson of the Taxi Association" as if it were some rare honorific, like His Royal Highness or Special Envoy to the United Nations. This is just some dude that drives a cab that got a bullet to the head. Get the fuck outta here.
