Re: Bikers Throat Sliced by Kite String
What makes this injury to be particularly bad is that the kite string cut right through the part of the neck where the wi-fi connects to the ganglia. Now he's going to have to be home tomorrow between the hours of noon and 5 pm.

Re: Bikers Throat Sliced by Kite String
So, short answer is maybe. I would need to see this guy in person to tell you for sure. My guess without seeing the patient in person is Shock. There are four main categories of shock, based on what has affected the flow of blood. obstructive shock cardiogenic shock distributive shock hypovolemic shock You're guess falls into the distributive shock category (Neurogenic shock specifically). In the case that maybe his spinal cord was damaged with all the cutting of the neck. While that is possible, he is a small guy so my money is on, hypovolemic shock (hemorrhagic shock specifically). Low blood pressure due to fluid (blood in this case) loss. Leading to his death due to cardiac arrest caused by exsanguination. |

Re: Bikers Throat Sliced by Kite String
Your guess is asphyxiation then? Over the years it has been my experience that this usually takes longer to die from. Asphyxiation occur when an individual drowns (blood into the lungs qualifies), becomes wedged in an area that precludes them from being able to breath normally, or if they are in a confined space and are unable to get the oxygen they need. Crushing of the larynx or trachea as well. I think bleeding out still. |
