I'm thinking this was something like... a guy gets a new bike and says "Hey follow me and video me as I ride around on my new bike!" He looks back at the camera to impress his friends or whatever, looses his line on the road, and gets target fixation and is unable to swerve in time.

Looks like his leg is still there, just broke as shit and curled up under his body. Compound fracture probably, but not completely 'lost'. His arm looks more fucked than his leg!

But damn. Every time I see a motorcycle crash, it makes me absolutely fear ever wanting to ride my bikes again. It's just not worth the risk anymore. Just my own personal opinion.

Dude, it's simple. He had his feet up because he was showing off thinking he is quite skilled by riding an unorthodox style. But when he crashed, he was signalling to change lanes and looked over his shoulder. People are idiots in general. That's why we have a 99% vs 1%. I'm glad I'm in the 1%.

i don't think he was doing anything more than trying to get into the other lane, he put his blinker on and was going for it and didn't realize there was a turn coming up... he kept with the lane and failed to start to turn... those few inches cost him quite a lot!

Looks to me like his leg is still very much attached to his body...it may be snapped, twisted and fairly solidly rammed up his arse but its still there....
