Re: Biker Hits Truck & Loses Leg In Brazil
When you are in shock and pain overload. The pituitary gland releases masses of Endorphins to try to calm you and reduce blood preassure. Stopping forceful bleeding. The fact that you are smoshed is not in your head at the time because your brain has a failsafe of denial when massive trauma is endured. Again to protect the living body. It's acually quite amazing how far a human body can endure trauma and survive. |

Re: Biker Hits Truck & Loses Leg In Brazil
I stand corrected. I didn't see the blinker until you mentioned it. Still wondering why he had his feet up on the rear seat. Maybe just stretching and resting from a long stretch in the seat perhaps? And then he signalled and looked, saw the car and had to delay the lane change. And he just mis-interpreted the curve in the road by a hair. If anything, it just shows how a split-second loss of attention on a motorcycle can ruin your day. |
