~ Looks like another flying stupidass that miscalculated & thought they could beat turning traffic. ~ Although I assume he probably only saw the truck & not the black trailer behind it, since it is kinda dark outside. ~ The trailer might need some bright neon safety markers for next time, although the next idiot might not even notice them. |

Not sure how this could have happened since the biker was wearing a helmet* and vest...and the trailer load was tied down. Whatever could go wrong. *Can't see if the helmet had a chinstrap with that birdshit smear on the windshield Tip: If you must ride a motorbike, stay away from BP gas stations (left edge, middle of frame)...seem to be the nucleus for running into truck-trailer combos, re. this from a few days earlier: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...-truck-230742/ |

Playing it frame by frame; the helmet comes off before his head smokes the bed of the trailer. Must not have had it fastened very well. I wonder if the outcome would have been different if it had stayed on.

Definitely not paying attention or not situationally aware. It doesn't even look like he tried to stop (or he panicked and forgot how brakes work). It also looks like he might have been speeding, judging from the relative speeds of the trucks. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. |
