App Driver, Waiting for a Customer, Shot and Killed by Robbers
Brazil, An app driver, who worked with the service for just 4 months, was shot and killed during an attempted robbery on a quiet street in the west of São Paulo. M.M, 42, was fatally targeted by criminals. The driver succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Security cameras recorded the 30-second action. It was almost 8 pm when the bandits approached the driver. M.M. parked the car in front of the passenger's house and, as soon as the customer left with some equipment, the robber arrived on a bike. Noticing the movement, the client went back inside the residence. Inside the car a woman managed to escape unscathed. According to witnesses, the worker stood still, stunned and unresponsive. The bandits, who were very excited, fired after aggressively hitting the car window. |

~ So sad, he was just trying to make a living, & she was just trying to get a ride somewhere. ~ Which is why vigilantes & mobs are most welcome in Brazil, because of this kind of brazen behavior by motorcycle robbers & killers.    |

was confused about the translation but you're right. The female passenger was this guy's gf as they were picking him up to go somewhere. |
