Re: Biker Helmet Cam: Perfect Reason Why You Shouldn't Speed Like an Asshole
Greatest video ever! That may sound like hyperbole, but it's not.

2nd bike looks like he had a chance to miss the car, but the first impact seems to make the car rotate and move backwards a foot or two. I'm always looking out for this very thing when I ride. And use caution when coming to intersections. And I don't do that stupid wave to passing motorcyclist, because half the people on bikes are fucking morons. They ride like they own the road, like they're special or something because they're on a bike. As if everyone else must be on heightened alert for them. When you're on a bike, you're a mouse surrounded by moving mousetraps. You are the one who needs to be on a heightened alert. |

Re: Biker Helmet Cam: Perfect Reason Why You Shouldn't Speed Like an Asshole
My husband and I used to own Harleys. He had a Softail Classic and I had the 1200 Sportster Custom. One day, my husband was driving his with our youngest son on the back and a dumbs lady decided she needed to do a super fast lane change and bumped my husband. She then flipped him off like it was his fault. I guess he was in her way.... anyways, that freaked my husband out so bad, he sold his. I kept mine for another year. I would only go riding on backroads and my son would ride with me. Then one day.. I massive aggressive dog decided it wanted to bite the front tire. I was done after that and got rid of mine. I wish we still had them now. There are so many people riding them around here now that pretty much everyone has really begun to respect the bikers and vice versa.
