Another tragic death from Hanoi.
A mom riding an e-bike together with her two kids gets run over by a truck from the opposite direction. The mom died on the spot all bleeding and the two kids survived.

All of them don't wear a helmet. After the collision with the truck going in the opposite direction, the girl was run over by the wheel and the 2 lucky children escaped miraculously.

On the evening of May 9, 2019 many cars and motorbikes were crowded together on the narrow road. The woman (black shirt) riding an electric bike, carrying a girl about 3 years old behind and a boy of about 1 year old in front.

The truck driver hurried to get out, many other men also ran to look at the victims when they discovered she was bleeding. What surprised many people was that the girl and the boy were lucky to escape miraculously. The girl crawled out from the truck, then was quickly carried away. The boy, who fell further away, was also rescued by the people.

The truck is dragging the scooter between its rear wheels. You can see the scooters tail light between the truck's rear wheels as it continues driving.

I wonder if a truck dragging a scooter will get the attention of the police in Vietnam?

If you are going to pass a truck, STOMP ON IT AND GO! I still can't believe the number of motorcycle riders that putt alongside one of these behemoths without a care in the world. Cars and trucks do it as well. Like they won't be crushed like bugs under a semi. They should have bumper stickers reading. "Dumbasses for Darwin"
