I actually feel sorry for him, he was helping his family get to a funeral but rushed and died. The place has no strict road rules or training so to me its the system that let him down as he was just doing normal what everyone else there does.

Fuck. That. Common sense should tell someone to slow down when confronted with not only another motorist in front of you, but also an oncoming truck on the other side of the road.

It looks like he wasn’t paying attention and at the last second, and FAR too late, he realized the scooter in front of him had stopped to turn left. He had nowhere to go. Nowhere but to try and squeeze between...  Its very sad, but a good case for paying attention while driving!

If you have the option to hit a parked vehicle, a small vehicle traveling in the same direction as you, or a head on collision with a vehicle ten times the size of your own, the latter choice is rarely the best.  |
