Biker Crushed by the Wheels of a Truck
India, 22-year-old J.P. died yesterday afternoon when he was trying to avoid a pothole, bumped into a bike in front of him and was run over by a truck coming from the opposite direction.  High court already came down heavily on state government for its inaction to fix road potholes that keep on causing motorists to die in accidents. The victim, a trainee at ta hotel near-by, was heading home to take his father to the funeral of his grandmother. He already dropped his sister at the funeral place just before. |

Exactly. Avoiding a pothole had exactly nothing to do with this. Trying to pass where there was no room to pass had everything to do with it.

Speeding to his own funeral, driving like an asshole. One of the more avoidable accidents on DR. Oncoming truck, parked car, no room, lets hit the gas! Actually, I think it was Enzo Ferrari or another early Italian race car driver who drove full throttle on public roads. He scared the shit out of his wife. He said a driver can always find a way to avoid a collision. There is something to be learned from that philosophy, many drivers fixate on obstacles or accidents instead of steering around them. |

See this is why you should be respectful on the road. If you're not in a position to kindly overtake, you're putting everyone's life at risk not just your own. It sucks that ANYONE got hurt. Honestly though at least it was only the instigator who got the damage. That was quick & violent |
