A body of 63-year-old farmer, La Noti, from Indonesia's Majapahit Village, Batauga, Southeast Sulawesi was found inside the belly of an eight-meter-long python. The victim was reported as missing since Friday morning when he failed to return home from his farm. Upon searching the platation area, residents discovered the python lying with a swallon human-like structure in his stomach.
Head of the emergency and logistics division of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of South Buton, Laode Risawal said that LN’s body was discovered by residents at 2:30 p.m. in Majapahit Village.
The victim was reported missing since Friday morning when he failed to return home from his farm. His concerned family members and nearby residents started searching for La Noti in garden. One of the residents then encountered a giant python in the garden.
The python appeared to have swollen something human-like and was struggling to move. Thereafter, the residents killed the snake and cut its belly open.
