Re: Beheadings from Mexico Again.....quite Brutal
The gurgling I'm used to. You hear one gurgle you've heard them all. But there's something about the unhinged, panic-filled, hysterical high pitched primal scream of someone who suddenly realizes they're going to die - horribly - and are absolutely NOT ready to meet that fate to the point their composure shits the bed and the screaming is so wild and rhythmic you'd think it was completely involuntary. And that's before the blade even did any significant cutting, which only seemed to happen when they laid him on his back. You don't see someone just snap like that in most of these videos, with the exception of a few like maybe Eugene Armstrong (still not as ear splitting), the Korean guy whose name I keep fucking up (I just call him "beggar", but his screaming was mostly during the pre-beheading rant part), and that one dude from the Dagestan 6 where two guys tackle him and another pummels his head with the butt of his AK, and even then I still think Red Shirt takes the cake. Unless they filmed blue shirt afterwards... |

Re: Beheadings from Mexico Again.....quite Brutal
In some parts of the country they do exactly that. Think of Blackwater working for the narcos and you've got the picture. They'll run convoys of 10 to 20 armored SUVs full of commandos in full battle gear and armed to the teeth. Rocket launchers, grenades, kevlar helmets and vests, etc. There's nobody that can take them on effectively, so they operate with complete impunity when in groups that size. Those kind of operations are more common in the northern states, however. There is more open terrain and less government presence. They can be mistaken for legitimate military or special police forces from their appearance, too. In some areas they've gone as far as to install their own wireless communications network. The good thing is that if you're not involved in some aspect of the trade, they'll most likey leave you alone. In fact, they'll often carry out reprisals against those who kill civilians in the course of their operations. I'm not saying it's safe to roam the countyside, but chances are they'll take no interest in tourists. |
