Re: Beheadings from Mexico Again.....quite Brutal

Sorry to tell you guys that guy in the blue is more than likely dead too. Probably the video of his demise will pop up here soon on interwebs. Maybe he got special treatment, like perhaps getting skinned alive.
Agreed, also why the hell would they blindfold him aswell if they wanted him to watch and tell ...

Re: Beheadings from Mexico Again.....quite Brutal

I've got a curious question...

Are Los Zetas ALL military trained versus their rivals? What I mean is, does Los Zetas have the upper hand in capabilities to wipe out their competition, despite any numerical disadvantage.

How organized are these chaps? They seem super well armed and possess killer instincts that I don't even think our local armies could ever possess.
The Zetas originally started out as a private narco security force made up of former Mexican special forces personnel. They later got into the trade themselves and even train their own recruits in clandestine boot camps. They aren't like military- they are military. A great deal of their success is due to that training and discipline. Scary organization.

So what could stop them then from possibly, say, going full-on military operations mode and just wiping everyone of their competitors out? They seem to have the training, the weapons, the intelligence, and the balls. Are the alliances they fight against too strong numerically as opposed to logistically. Apologies for all the questions, I find this whole thing fascinating as fuck.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Zetas

Los Zetas (Zetas, Zs) is a powerful and violent criminal syndicate in Mexico, and is considered by the U.S. government to be the "most technologically advanced, sophisticated, and dangerous cartel operating in Mexico."[7][8] The origins of Los Zetas date back to 1999, when commandos of the Mexican Army's elite forces deserted their ranks and decided to work as the armed wing of the Gulf Cartel, a powerful drug trafficking organization. In February 2010, Los Zetas broke away from their former employer and formed their own criminal organization.

^I take it you speak perfect Spanish. Thanks for the translation.

Any word on the blue shirt?
Before the video ends, the interrogator points at blue shirt and says, "Ahora este que sigue," which means, "Now it's this one's turn." He's dead.

That gurgling sound gets me every damn time.

That's the risk you take when you play the drug game - play with fire and you're bound to get burned. I wonder what happened to the last guy, maybe he got lucky and just got a bullet to the brain.
