And, had he been doing exactly what he was doing (walking around filming with his cell phone) only he was hysterical he probably would have not been charged. You can't gauge the actions of people who have just experienced something traumatic as thinking straight.

Like others have mentioned hes guilty of bad taste, being a douche, or worse for doing that but id be interested to know how they were able to obtain a conviction based on him committing a crime. At least a crime that was related to their deaths or that incident.

He was convicted of two counts of perverting the course of justice, driving at a dangerous speed, reckless conduct endangering life, destruction of evidence, and not providing assistance after an incident.

He then sent photos of the cops dying to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority and was charged and found guilty of using a carriage service to cause offence.

I like seeing more Aussie responses here. We all (for the most part) understood how messed up this was and what a prick he is. He got what he deserved and Mr Inbetween is one of the greatest shows on television.
