Um......Id just like to point out that he didn't actually taunt any of the dying officers. And, had he been doing exactly what he was doing (walking around filming with his cell phone) only he was hysterical he probably would have not been charged. You can't gauge the actions of people who have just experienced something traumatic as thinking straight. Like others have mentioned hes guilty of bad taste, being a douche, or worse for doing that but id be interested to know how they were able to obtain a conviction based on him committing a crime. At least a crime that was related to their deaths or that incident. |

Funny how different countries behave over freedom of speech... asshole would be free criminally in the USA, but the grieving families could sue the $hit out of him for emotional pain and suffering.

I think it was purely within legal territory and there was no psych involved some things the judge might hav taken into account: - judge might have had a fatality in family, which makes them far less lenient - evidence of ill. drugs possession while having a mental disorder - reactions like a selfish 6 year old kid "they all got cleaned up" ... like Joeys? - driver of the lorry was a complete nutcase |
