Re: Army Vet Shot Dead by Cop After Domestic Violence Call
That article is fucking wrong. Officer never entered the house. The guy got what he asked for. Fuck around and find out is a tough lesson.

Re: Army Vet Shot Dead by Cop After Domestic Violence Call
Sorry, but this looks like a DR post where the perp DID NOT get to kill his wife and family in a wild shooting, then burn the house down. He got the Reader's Digest version of it, where they cut everything out except the jerk dies. I might seem cruel, but I'm NOT. There are literally HUNDREDS of mental health programs for vets. They are available EVERYWHERE in the U.S. and at every base overseas. Help is just a phone call away. At the VERY LEAST his mother or girlfriend should have pushed him into going into the VA to have a talk with a counselor. THAT'S how you avoid getting a family member killed at Christmas. |

Re: Army Vet Shot Dead by Cop After Domestic Violence Call
Having had problems with depression since I was a child, I understand being so depressed that you just don’t care anymore. You don’t want help. ‘Everything fucking SUCKS, so why bother’ kind of thing. It changes the way you think and feel about everything. You cannot get away from it to change your way of thinking… it’s truly a shitty situation. I can only imagine how he felt after five tours in Afghanistan… I’m very sad for him, for the cop who had to shoot him, and especially for his mum. |

…Not to mention, any ‘help’ he could have gotten takes time. A lot of time. Any kind of talk therapy doesn’t help for a loooong time, if ever. And meditations change how you feel about everything, it dulls you, plus you probably have to try a few before you get one that isn’t as bad as the others. And some not so great medication side effects. You trade one thing for others… I feel terrible for everyone involved in this situation. It’s so very sad… |

Re: Army Vet Shot Dead by Cop After Domestic Violence Call
We already have a decline in quality and timely care at the VA since the big switch and that's goes for everything else.. Moreover, they are utilizing VA medical facilities and assets to help all our fresh migrants with their free healthcare Pretty sure they got Voluntold to do it by higher ups |
