So, I’ve become fascinated with this case. Latest news is, they’ve been arrested. It seems that official reports confirm there was an ongoing “investigation” by the authorities under the claim that these people had invaded the home. The other woman that was with grandma is the one who submitted the complaint.

When investigators went to the house, it was locked, and there was no one home.

Sometime (not much time) later,
Granny and company decided to serve their final eviction, in lead.

In the meantime, it looks like Granny has become a social media sensation in Mexico, kind of like Luiggi Mangione was here in the US for a minute. Memes from “Carlotta evictions services” to a whole reimagining of the event in the Studio Ghibli style.
