Someone pulls that on my grandkids, I will make Joe Pesci look like Mr. Rogers. As far as protecting my family goes, life without parole is no deterrent at my age.

If family & grandkids are that important to you (and old person), why would you become the talk of the town and the news of the day and putting your family and yourself on trial (public display) and then spending the rest of your life (short or long) in prison and then not being able to see or hug or kiss or visit with those same family members or grandkids? You would be rotting in prison with plenty of free time to think about what you did. And missing your family and grandkids all the while. Just something to think about before you make your decision.

Unfortunately Mexico has no such thing as life I prison. The old lady will probably die in prison because her age. Mexican prisons are brutal. I've never been omin a prison in Mexico, but I have been put in jail. That was horrific enough
