Fuck all a person lives to be in their 70’s and she sure didn’t deserve that. How horrible. Yep, for sure those dogs should duck taped around their muzzles, strung up by their hind legs and gutted while hanging there. Maybe cut their front arms of first though, then gut them.  |

You GOTTA be kidding me! 20 minutes of mauling and still alive? Relieved there isn’t footage of the attack itself. This was bad enough. BTW: How is it that pit bull owners rarely get attacked? Always someone just going for a walk and MTOB. |

Perhaps the breed has something to do with it. But it might also be that the breed attracts absolutely the worst type of owners. Such as this asshole who raises dogs in horrible conditions and doesn't take any responsibility of them.

I don't know about that, but what I can tell you is that the animal shelter in Indianapolis is completely filled with pitbulls or pit mixes. There were literally hundreds of dogs of the same exact breed and no other breed available the last time I visited. If that's not an epidemic of sorts I don't know what is. They are euthanizing them in droves. I've heard stories of stacks of carcasses. Of course they almost all come from low-income neighborhoods, most of which are predominantly of the uneducated redneck variety, although Indy has its fair share of folks from the proverbial "hood" as well which is around 30% of the population. I'm sure there's plenty of nuance to the "pitbull owners are bad" argument, but the optics themselves make a pretty compelling case. One solution would be to convince inner city dweebs that a loud Chihuahua is just as effective as a pitbull in terms of home protection which would naturally lead to fewer babies and grannies getting their faces eaten and whatnot... I'd rally whoever owns Nicktoons to loan out Ren Höek as a mascot.
