Re: African Man Begging for His Live is Executed
Obviously you are all over the map with your personal attack. You've gone way off topic from the original thread. You can barely write a coherent sentence with a point. Please go back to my original comment that was merely speculative on weapons origin and in no way meant to say the things you actually are trying to pretend I wrote. There are all sorts of arms in Africa with no single supplier and no single manufacturer. My original comment was not even to you. It was in retort to another comment by another ignorant person who tried to blame the US government and the American people for weapons proliferation in Africa. To blame one nation is just as ignorant as to blame one manufacturer who most likely had no idea where the weapons he sold would end up. A government often buys weapons for one conflict and then sends them elsewhere. And the German government does restrict it's weapons transfers to "Approved" conflicts. Unfortunately that can have simular unhappy results much like the weapons transfers USA made to Iraq when it was on good terms with the Saddam regime. And simular to how USA originally supported the Al Quaida and the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan. I don't think I ever made a point that the German government was making small arms deals to Africa. I simply retorted with facts from world arms trafficing observers that the German government officially restricts clandestine arms dealing to non governmental militants and rebels but turns a blind eye to how weapons are eventually funneled to various rebel groups via straw man purchases, false destinations and other subterfuges designed to work around arms embargos. And it is not just the German government that operates this way. USA does this exact same thing as well as China, Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam. I imagine if you look close enough at any arms manufacturer in any nation you will find them selling arms legally that somehow end up in the hands of despotic regimes, outlaw militants and a thousand petty tyrants of all types and persuasions. Have a nice day. |

Re: African Man Begging for His Live is Executed
Does it really take a dozen or more men with weapons against one man? Granted, he looks like he works out, but, still? This torture should be saved for the most hated - child molesters and murderers!!! |

Re: African Man Begging for His Live is Executed
How did this turn into an arms shipment argument? Politics in Africa are one of a kind, presidents are declared every 2 weeks and factions have names like "The Long Dicks". It's a place that doesn't ask questions to things the west seeks questions to. Only the most fit and intelligent are meant to survive.

Re: African Man Begging for His Live is Executed
I would say, Only the most ruthless and cunning bastards survive. Indeed, Africa is just such a society as this. Small bloodthirsty militant groups with no firm bounderies riding around looking for people to shoot and rape. Or Rape and shoot, depending on preference. In Africa there is no such thing as stability or rule of law.
