What an oddly emotional reaction to a common english description of a large class of weapons. Are there any other products besides guns that elicit such a bizarre response when someone uses a description other than manufacturer and model number? If someone says hot rod instead of listing make and model and after market modifications of a vehicle, for example, would that cause the same panty wetting and name calling as assault rifle? Axe for guitar? Tissue for Kleenex? That must be a horribly exhausting way to live, good luck
