I think a wrecker already removed from the scene the tractor portion of the semi that the embedded guy was driving, after he rear ended the red trailer.

Seems more like the little truck crashed hard and at a high speed(?) into the back of that truck. When the truck in front moved forward to give people access to the dead driver, the crashed trucks cab had been embedded into the back of the truck. |
