he was mentally disabled, shot 47 times, to which 11 hit him. shows that despite their poor close targeting skills, they also have poor morality issues. I do believe that even though they murdered an innocent man, they will be affected by their actions in some small way, and getting away scott free doesn't mean the consequences are done with. shame on them.

Fuck that, dude. I see this shit all the time. "OH NO HE'S MENTALLY ILL". So fucking what if he's mentally ill. He poses a threat to himself and those around him, and if he chooses to act erratically, he gets shot. There's a video around here of a man holding himself in the bathroom with a knife. The cop spends 7 minutes saying "Drop the knife" before the dude rushes him. The cop shoots the guy and everyone makes the cop out to be a bad guy because he shot a "mentally ill" man. Fuck that shit, man. Mentally ill people can kill someone just as much as someone who's not mentally ill. |

Thank you for that video rilvulan671...it brought back a lot of really fun memories. I was taught by Dan in the early 1980's and the guy is a genius in hand to hand combat training...right up there with Bill "Dangerous Dan" Fairbairn and Rex Applegate. Dan actually was Bruce Lee's teacher and sparing partnerback in the 1970's. The guy is amazing and the nicest man ever...a great teacher. He does quite a lot of law enforcement training and research into various situations commonly encountered as a police officer. There's another video (about the same time period) that shows from above the safe distances when dealing with a bad guy with a knife. Unfortunitly, it doesn't matter what logic or scientific evidence you try to inject into a discussion here on DR...most of the lunatic fringe here have a prior agenda and a deep-seated abject hatred against police or authority of any kind. While I appreciate the video...the nutters won't understand and will just figure you and I are part of the vast right wing/police/government conspiracy...you just can't win. Thanks again for the video...the guy's a living legend in California law enforcement circles. |
