There is no such thing as shoot to maim! There also is no shoot to paralyze, shoot to blind, shoot to remove arm, shoot to remove leg! There were in the past police who shot criminals to stop them and bring them to justice but by doing so the law officers were sued by the criminals because the criminals claim they were "forever disabled" and the officers of the law had to pay the criminals! Why is it that in Afghanistan Iraq etc coalition troops watch combatants walking around with guns etc doing all sorts of bad shit but can't shoot them even if threatened. They have to wait to be shot at an can identify the target etc otherwise it's murder and we will send them to jail for it!!! Yet in the USA the cops just shot the shit outta anyone even when no life threat to themselves was warrant for an execution and I do mean execution. There was how many years other ways to deal with this man and arrest him not execute him in cool blood! The very first shot was not needed never mind the 50th !!
