I think for people who had accounts from a certain year and before that, did not have to pay any membership fees. But everyone after that, joining the site have to pay. But I believe those of us who had accounts from before got a few passes for people who could join for free thru that. But of course, all members can donate $ to the website.

I've heard that in some western countries it's illegal to leave kids without sitters. But in most countries mom goes to work and leaves kids at home. Or sending them to play to streets alone.

You are correct...but lying flat on her back means that there is a possibility of the poor girl choking on her own blood/vomit...or whatever... It's a tough one...but to increase her chances of life...put her in the recovery postition! But after saying that...if you did that and she passed away...would the parents sue you? You know what I mean... That could be one of the reason's why the crowd around her are doing fuck all... Any intelligent Human Being/Parent/Guardian would be grateful that somebody tried to help her...  |

Yeah, what other people said. I think censorship is contrary to the spirit of the site; the site isn't called "documenting parts of reality we don't find especially disturbing." If you find something especially upsetting, just don't click on it. Eyeball stuff grosses me out. I was just in the thread where dude was apparently trying to remove his own eye. I simply didn't watch the video, I did read the comments, though. It is quite possible to steer clear of things you don't want to see here without calling for a site-wide ban. I would also agree with what slysleevemuckyey [sp?] said about it not being hypocritical to say someone should have tried to comfort her. Watching videos/looking at photos of death or injury doesn't mean that we would be completely uncaring if we were right there with the person. |
