Ill throw my input in. Right now i have a american pitbull terrior the skinny tall one not the short stocky. Has never been viscious but before him i had fuckin golden retriever attack my sons mom when she was pregnant for no reason. So to people say its the breed of dog your full of shit.

I just got bit by a pit bull like a week ago while working (I'm a mail carrier) snuck up from the bushes. All i saw was pit bull teeth coming straight for my face but I jumped back and it chomped down on my stomach, it's still a little bit sore and now i have 4 nice teethmarks in my belly. I don't have anything against pit bulls only something against the idiots who don't know how to raise their dogs. breed doesn't matter, although some breeds are more dangerous and require special attention to keep them from becoming a menace. I've been "chased" by a fuckin bitch ass little poodle who was trying to bite me before, amazing how people can turn these dogs like that.

The owners need to be banned if the dogs aren't properly trained. The troll next door to me has a German Shephard, who barks at every noise because wacko doesn't put him on a lease to take him to his caged lawn. He ran over to our porch and dented the frame and ripped the screen to our outside door. I was sleeping and I heard the dog barking and my mother screaming. What does the troll say to me? A guy who picks up his child at school has a nice male pit pull. A woman has an anti-social female, but, neither goes after kids. My niece's neighbor has a boxer/pitbull combo and he's a cool dog. He plays with my niece's Yorkie.

More than likely the dog was mistreated in someway. Your dog just doesn't eat most your face off for no reason.

Some dogs are very teritorial and can switch on agression on their own family. Bit bull start on you or your kid you can't get them off but you can get a labradore off it's victim which is why some dogs should be in a zoo not in a home.

I love how even my gore site has 'pit bull issues'. Love them or don't they are awesome animals. They are also the only (bullys) breed that was bred to NOT attack humans. Come on really, who wants to be fighting their dogs and have fido decide to take a bite outta the other white meat.
