Re: STEVEN JOHNSON SYNDROM

I had this reaction a few months ago after starting an antibiotic called Cephalexin. I had used the same antibiotic all my life with no problems. It started a spots that looked like hives and then spread out and formed blister looking patches. I went to the ER since I'm a diabetic and it scared the hell out of me. They pumped me full of steroids and benedryl. I was really lucky that mine didn't get as severe as in these pics. It got bad but I have no scars although one area on my leg is still a little darker than the rest of my skin but it keeps getting lighter.
