Standing Up to Bullying! (of the Feline Variety)
My adolescent cat Sheldon has decided that he wants to run the show now, and I have two male cats so they're involved in a constant war for domination. When I pay my older cat Chase some attention, Sheldon gets jealous and pounces on him. He went a little bit too far a few days ago when I left my apartment, and I came back home to find Chase missing a big chunk of fur from his back. Ftr, Chase is deaf so he can't hear Sheldon sneaking up on him... :(  It's beginning to heal nicely with a little neosporin and a homemade kitty tank top to keep him from over licking.   However, today some paybacks were issued to Sheldon, as you can see by the evidence on the floor and in Chase's whiskers. ;)  The culprit....    |

The younger one is a rescue, and has since calmed down a lot thanks to Feliway, a pheromone that you spray in your home to stop unwanted behavior. It's great stuff, I highly recommend.

being the one cat was a rescue and they are both males, I will assume they are both neutered. hope the two cats work it out and learn to get along.
