Something Mild.

Removal of ganglion cyst and bone spur from left thumb.

It looks like the juice pearls in Boba Tea.

Re: Something Mild.

Guess what? I fancy some cherries now. Normally I'm never in the mood for eating after gawking at the pics here, so feel free to congratulate yourself

Re: Something Mild.

I'm in the mood for some sliced off fingers. Guess I'll go down to McDonalds and wait for the next slicing machine accident.

Re: Something Mild.

My dad would get this in his wrist all the time. He would smash it with the biggest book he could find, whack that sucker three or four times and presto no more bubble!

My mom has one and the doc specifically told her not to smash it with a book. She was going to.

Re: Something Mild.

Book smashing was the standard procedure years ago. It's in one of my medical books written in the 1920's.

Back in the days it was also called a "bible bump" because the biggest/only book people had was a bible and they used it to smash those bumps.

I did it once, felt a weird warmth in my wrist. Eventually had to surgically remove both (as in both wrists), after emptying them tens of times. It was weird, clear yellowish substance that couldve been instant glue.
