It's a dude and he's an attention seeker. If this was something he did in private I would pity him, but filming/taking photos of his self-harm and then posting it on the internet is attention seeking of the most grotesque kind. Not only that, it encourages other kids to copy him.

If you wanted attention would you take a handful of sleeping pills, cut yourself superficially, or perform fucking SURGERY on yourself?

You have to be in an unimaginable amount of psychological anguish to need to do something so extreme and override every instinct of self preservation. Do you think you could cut through veins, muscle, nerves, and keep going?

You don't know why or where she posted these photos either...I do happen to know and it wasn't for attention.

It isn't surprising that people who have no experience with this think it's failed suicide attempts or attention seeking. But you're wrong.

Are you thick? He took pictures of it and posted it on the internet. You might have had a point if he had done all of that in private, but the fact he documented it and made it public was purely to get attention.

Again. You don't know me or my experiences. He took photos and posted them online in order to get attention. He wanted sympathy and he wanted people to look at him otherwise he would never have took the photos or posted them online in the first place.
